Maybe you have something a little more specific you want to learn. Or you might do better in a one-on-one session. Whatever the case I am happy to book private lessons in a variety of topics from screen printing to design and illustration. We can cover software and techniques or get in the weeds with some design, illustration or typography fundamentals. Ready to learn?Book A private lesson!
Get the hell out of the office! You do the same thing everyday press pause then repeat. Break out of the rut and bring your team to Hey! Monkey for a a few hours of creative escape. We can print shirts, posters, signs, calendars, coasters, tortillas (What?! Yes.), and other weird stuff! Bring in some food, some beer & wine and you will never go to a boring-ass restaurant or bowling alley (ok, I love bowling too) for your team lovefest again.

What is that one thing you have wanted to get better at? Typography? Overall design skills? Program specific like Adobe Creative Cloud apps? Maybe some digital illustration skills on the iPad would take you to that next level. I can absolutely tailor a private lesson to what you want to learn, what you need to learn and what your desired outcome is. Below are just a few of the things we can work on right away.
Costs can vary depending on the time needed and the complexity of what you want to learn. I can customize a price to try and work with your budget and desired outcome of the lesson. We can start off with a single hour session and go from there or book out multiples sessions and create a customized curriculum together.
Absolutely! Those are just generalities and overall topics. We can absolutely work together to come up with the best, most cost effective way to help you on your way to skill mastery!
Generally, after work hours (6pm to 8pm) Mon.-Thurs. work well. I tend to save Saturdays for workshops or days of resting but I would be open to some weekend lessons as well if that is what works best for you. What I am saying is, I'm flexible. As far as location, we can look at local coffee shops or other places where we can hear each other and see our screens. I could also host you at my studio in Durham.
That depends on what you want to learn. Most times 2 or 3 hours will get you moving in the direction you need and we can always start small and grow from there.
